Lord Shiva got established in this temple by name Chandra Moulishwara Swamy. This swamy who is in the form of Brahmasutra Shivalinga, overcomes many hardships of devotees with abhisheka and archana sevas.
Abhishekams are performed daily to this Swamy, Special auspicious rituals are performed on the night of Masashivaratri. Annarchana seva is performed to Lord Shiva every month on Aarudra Nakshatram day. Devotees can participate in these pious services and become recipients of Lord Shiva's grace.
