Lord Shiva is worshipped in this temple as Chandra Mouliswara Swamy, represented in the form of a Brahmasutra Shivalinga. This divine presence is believed to help devotees overcome various hardships through the rituals of abhisheka (ritual bathing) and archana (offering prayers). Daily abhishekams are conducted to honor this deity, while special auspicious rituals take place on the night of Maha Shivaratri. Additionally, an annarchana seva is performed every month on Aarudra Nakshatram, allowing devotees to actively participate in these sacred services.
